Healthy Parks Healthy People Day is a global movement that celebrates the transformative power of nature on our physical, mental, and social well-being. Research has consistently shown that spending time in nature can work wonders, from reducing anxiety and boosting self-esteem to even lowering blood pressure.

“The time to strengthen and rediscover our connection to nature is now,” shares Ontario Parks. “Ontario’s provincial parks are home to some of the most inspiring and beautiful landscapes in the country. We want to increase the awareness and uptake of the strong benefits linked to spending time in nature.”

Ontario Parks offers a diverse array of programs and facilities to indulge in nature's bounties all year round, regardless of your outdoor experience. Whether you're hiking, cycling, paddling, swimming, or simply basking in the serene landscapes, these activities foster physical health and contribute to overall well-being and happiness.
