Attention thrill-seekers and adventure enthusiasts! Canada's Wonderland has officially set the date for its grand reopening this year, promising an unforgettable experience for all.
Mark your calendars for Friday, May 3rd as the eagerly anticipated kickoff date for the 2024 season of Canada's Wonderland in Vaughan, Ontario.
Exciting news accompanies this announcement: a new water slide named Moosehorn Falls will debut at Splash Works this year. Inspired by the rugged rivers and waterfalls of Fundy National Park in New Brunswick, Moosehorn Falls offers a thrilling experience. Riders, accompanied by up to six others, will navigate a rushing river before descending a 42-foot drop.
Visitors can also enjoy all of the classic rides, delicious foods, and games, they all know and love. From the adrenaline-pumping loops of Leviathan to the whimsical charm of Planet Snoopy, there's something for everyone at Canada's Wonderland.
And as the opening date approaches, Canada's Wonderland is gearing up to fill approximately 4,000 positions, including seasonal and full-time roles. Applications are currently open for various departments such as operations, food and beverage, lifeguard, security, park services, and more.
The hiring process is being managed by Cedar Fair Entertainment, the park's parent company, which aims to recruit around 35,000 seasonal associates across its network of parks in the United States and Canada for the 2024 season.
Candidates interested in applying must be at least 15 years old.
