While traditional names like Jasmine and Rosemary remain popular, there's a noticeable shift towards more unique food-inspired names such as Saffron and Basil.

Chefs Plate's analysis highlights some interesting shifts in baby name popularity. Brie soared an impressive 340 positions, Rosemary climbed 197 positions, and Maple saw a rise of 141 positions.

Among these names, Jasmine stands out as the most popular, ranking as the 85th most common baby name in Canada. Following closely are Madeleine, potentially inspired by the famous French cake, at 132nd, and Olive, evoking Mediterranean cuisine, at 161st.
