Canada Day is just around the corner, and if you’re looking to stock up on your favourite beverages for the long weekend, you’ll want to know the LCBO hours of operation.

And, with a potential workers’ union strike looming, now’s the time to plan your visit.

Good news for those eager to enjoy a boozy beverage at their barbecue or beach trip: LCBO locations across Ontario will be open with extended hours leading up to and following the holiday.

From Thursday, June 27, to July 4, all LCBO stores across the province will open early at 9:30 am. Many store locations will be open late until 10 pm, but closing hours will vary depending on the location. Customers are encouraged to consult local store schedules which can be found here and will be updated when extended hours are in effect.

However, all locations will be closed on the statutory holiday, Monday, July 1.

These extended hours give you plenty of time to stock up on Saturday and Sunday before the holiday closure. However, if you find yourself needing a last-minute pick-up on July 1, you still have a couple of options.

The Beer Store will keep 119 of its locations open for business on Canada Day. A full list of stores operating on the holiday can be found here

Additionally, The Wine Rack will also stay open, with hours varying by location.

So, make sure to plan ahead, fill up your coolers, and enjoy a hassle-free long weekend celebration!
