Are you an Ontario resident looking to get into the health-care field? You could be eligible for free tuition to study nursing at eligible institutions within the province.
The Ontario Learn and Stay Grant will provide free tuition for students enrolling in certain Ontario health care programs at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
In addition to providing free tuition, the funding will cover the cost of compulsory fees, books and other direct educational costs.
Students who receive the grant must commit to working in the region where they studied. For every year of schooling students complete under the grant program, they must work in the region for a six-month period, the release states.
Students enrolling in the undergraduate nursing programs in French or English will be eligible.
